This brake shoe meets the requirements for certification by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). The CSA Certification requires the brake to meet a tough set of standards before being sold in Canada. This helps to prevent mechanical lockup, which can occur when brake shoes are excessively worn or broken.The high performance material will continue to stand the test of time, all the way down until you contact the metal shoe.
