Worst Buying Experience in Recent Memory! |

I ordered 3 Convert-A-Ball Stainless Steel 3/4 inch Shank rated at 5,000 lbs. and received plain steel Shanks rated at 3,500 lbs. I immediately called, talked to Will. He agreed I was sent the wrong Shanks and at first seemed responsive. Then he went dark on me and did not return messages. Finally ran him down going through your sales department, he said it was "out of his hands" because he was dependent on his supplier! WTH!! I ordered these Shanks from Fayette, NOT your supplier! At this point it appeared his strategy was to wear me down so I asked to just return the wrong shanks for credit. He agreed to send a return authorization with a prepaid shipping label, that was 3 days ago, have not heard from him since. This was my first experience with Fayette and it will be my last. At this point I do not know if this is a case of bait & switch or a rogue employee but you should think twice about sending towing related products that are rated at less than what the customer ordered.
